Starting Points exhibition

This picture was done after several visits to Venice where I am always transported back in time to an earlier period of history. The narrow alleys and squares all evoke times gone by. I decided, therefore, to do this piece to a small scale to show the crowdedness. The decay I have displayed by quite a lot of raw edges on the fabric. The Canal is not complete as a reminder that Venice is always in peril and danger from the water. Venice is an 'experience' to be enjoyed.
