Untitled I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1970 in Drawing and Painting, but always had a strong interest in textile art. This interest continued and grew when I became a founder member of Embryo and I have exhibited with them in many venues throughout Scotland and in London. The most constant theme in my work is of people, sometimes reaching back to our origins and evolution and at times showing today's inhabitants, in the form of soft sculpture! At present I am working on a series of small canvas work pieces which will eventually be assembled to form a wall hanging and which will represent the landscape in which my grandmother grew up. |
